Torn faction tool

๐Ÿ†˜ Torn Assist

Stuck in a fight you can't finish? Ask your faction for help straight from the attack page. Everyone in your faction running the script sees it at the top of every Torn page, with one tap to join the fight.

What it looks like

A button on the side of the attack page, and a bar at the top of every page for your faction.

On the attack page, right next to "Attacking":
Attacking๐Ÿ†˜ REQUEST ASSIST๐Ÿ†˜ HELP REQUESTED ยท 20s ยท 2 COMING
And floating on the right edge, so it stays on screen through the fight. Tap to ask; it turns green and shows who's coming. Tap twice to cancel. Drag it up or down to move it.

What your faction mates see, on any Torn page:

Install

About a minute. Do it once on each device you play on.

  1. PC: Tampermonkey

Add the Tampermonkey extension to your browser, then open the Torn Assist script and click Install.

  2. Phone: TornPDA

In TornPDA, add a user script from https://assist.cpat.city/torn-assist.user.js. PDA signs you in by itself, so you can skip the next step.

  3. Sign in once

Open any attack page and tap ๐Ÿ†˜ ASSIST: SIGN IN next to "Attacking". Paste a Public API key of yours in the box that pops up. It only proves who you are and which faction you're in. It isn't stored.

How it works

  • On the attack page, tap the yellow ๐Ÿ†˜ REQUEST ASSIST next to "Attacking", or the ๐Ÿ†˜ Assist button on the right edge. Your whole faction sees it.
  • Join fight opens the same attack page. The requester sees who's coming.
  • New requests beep once. Turn the sound off in the Tampermonkey menu.
  • One request at a time. Asking on a new target replaces the old one.

When it goes away

  • You tap either green button twice to cancel.
  • The fight ends (win, loss, run away or stalemate).
  • You leave the attack page: it drops within 45 seconds.
  • After 10 minutes, whatever happens.

Good to know

  • Faction only. Only members of your own faction see your requests. Nobody else does.
  • No Discord, no setup. Nothing for leaders to configure. Anyone in a faction can use it.
  • Your key. Used once at sign-in to look up your name and faction, then thrown away. The script makes no other Torn API calls.
  • Torn's rules. One tap does one thing. Join is a normal link you click. Nothing runs on pages you aren't looking at.
  • Changed faction? Tampermonkey menu, Assist: sign in again.
